Two more case numbers printed by the court no longer appear in the court's public database

Alaska Court System

Eleven case numbers that appear in the Alaska Court System's own published reports return no records in Alaska CourtView when searched by case number. Two of the eleven stopped resolving overnight.

4FA-26-02008CR, Anderson, Vernon Gerald, was filed Oct. 3 with one count recorded as charging document pending or not filed and an arraignment set for Oct. 9. The file was read on each of the mornings of Oct. 4 to Oct. 7 and returned no records on the morning of Oct. 8, by case number and on a search of files dated Sep. 1 to Oct. 8.

4NE-26-00100CR, printed by the court's weekly charges report under Wednesday, Oct. 7, has never resolved. It is the court number for the Nenana assault arrest carried above.

Eight of the eleven appear in the court's own criminal dispositions report as closed cases, with their closing dates. Three do not: the two above and 4FA-26-02006CR, which carried three filed Class A misdemeanour counts when it was read on Oct. 3. The dispositions report's window closes on Oct. 5, so a closure after that date could not appear in it.

No explanation for any of the eleven appears in any public record this report can reach.

The court's weekly filings report added no cases to past days this week, but revised a row it had printed

Alaska Court System

The run of Oct. 7 lists the same case number under the same day with one count of assault in the third degree, a Class C felony. The day's total is three cases in both runs.

The counts in the filings section of this report are the court report's own counts for its stated window.
